Job Title: National Senior Lotus Notes Engineer
Reports to: Manager of Information Technology
Location: Guangzhou, China

Position Summary

Looking for a Senior Lotus Notes Admin/Engineer with Expert level experience. Should have experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. Extensive experience architecting and implementing large global Notes environments. Advanced knowledge of the Notes and Domino server (versions 5, 6.5 and 7) and client applications including knowledge of clustering, replication, x.509 certificates, encrypted mail, SMTP, website administration and security. Basic knowledge of Domino application development and scripting. Programming and web based development experience a plus. Knowledge of SMTP (Sendmail, Trend Micro Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam products), Lotus products (Sametime, QuickPlace, DB2, Websphere, etc...) and mail archiving solutions (Intellireach) is highly desirable. A person with strong Domino skills and strong general IT Knowledge (ie IIS, networking, some DB knowledge)

Specific Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Global team in US on Regional eMail hub level
• In charge in planning, design, implement the Group Lotus Notes eMail system, migrate existing eMail system to this new Lotus Notes system for China & HK.
• Lead the Notes support team in China, provide ongoing Notes support to the Greater China agencies.
• Architect and implement a Regional Hub with 5,000 user joining the global Notes system
• Develop standards, policies and guidelines as it pertains to the collaborative environment
• Create and Manage detailed documentation of the environment
• Support and manage Notes system across China and the APAC region
• Train and mentor junior messaging administrators
• Must be customer focused
• Other responsibilities and assignments as required.

Required Skills

• 5 years experience with Lotus Notes / Domino
• 3 years experience working with large international environments
• 3 years experience with general networking troubleshooting
• 5 years experience with directory services
• 3 years experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with other messaging systems such as Groupwise / Exchange is a bonus

Education / Background

• 8 years experience in Information Technology
• IBM Certified Advanced System Administrator
• Computer Science degree preferred but not required
• International exposure
• Excellent verbal and written skills (English)
